3 week Iran itinerary. We will talking about our itinerary, plans, budget and some of the highlights during our 3 weeks in Iran.

We say goodbye to Iran as we board the ferry that will bring us to into the Ultra Modern Age: Dubai.

2 days on Hormuz Island.

An Island made out of nothing but salt. A display of the most beautiful colours give this Island it’s nickname: Rainbow Island.  

3 days in Shiraz and a day trip to Persepolis.

Shiraz famous for its Pink Mosque and close to Persepolis: One of the most historical places on earth. 

Visiting the desert cities Yazd and Kerman.

Half the world or “Isfahan nesfe Jahan” as you would say in Persian. Probably the most popular and most beautiful city in all of Iran.

In just two days we visited: traditional houses, underground cities, a salt lake and watched the sunset in the Maranjab desert.

After our camping adventure at the Darvaza Crater (or Door to hell), we spend 3 days wandering around in the weirdest city we have ever been: Ashgabat.
